- Main Tasks
- Talent acquisition for ASK and clients across Pakistan.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and collaborate to set the qualification criteria for employees.
- Determine selection criteria and recruit systematically candidates.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks). Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and Linkedin.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews. Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using Applicant Tracking System.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Lead employer branding initiatives.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- Interview candidate’s in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive).
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates, clients for future job openings.
Since ASK is in HRM business projects, your JD may change according as we progress in the future. You will be required to undertake other activities but within HRM areas as directed by management.
- Requirements and skills
- BS/MBA in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
- Proven 2-4 years’ work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in similar role.
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. Linkedin, Facebook, Monster and Bayt.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
