POSITION PROFILE:

GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE:

To maintain broad knowledge of Logistic Management information system technology requirements with maintenance of their existing information systems.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The LMIS Officer will be responsible for the following:

  1. Development:
    i. Assist Manager Warehouse and technical units in developing manual/web-based logistic management components.
    ii. Assist in ensuring inter-operability of various data sources.
    iii. Assist in development and maintenance of Manuals for Logistic Information Systems for end-users.
    iv. Prepare customized progress reports on monthly/ quarterly basis or as required by the management and maintain/update the software developed for generating accurate and complete reports.
  2. Roll out:
    i. Assist in deployment of Logistic MIS/Software where required.
    ii. Capacity building and training of field staff.
    iii. Technical assistance to field staff.
  3. Maintenance:
    i. Trouble shooting of Logistic MIS/Software including usability, data consistency, and rendering issues.
    ii. Assist Manager Warehouse in updating of Logistic MIS/Software as and when required.
    iii. Ensure data security by putting in place adequate security measures against the data hacking/ tampering, data access.
    iv. Supervision of data entry process at all levels.
    v. Complete Quality Assurance of all the processes involved in data punching.
    vi. Handling operational process of Logistic MIS.
    vii. Conduct field visits for validation & verification of Logistic MIS data with manual data at health facilities.
  4. Coordinate with all relevant departments including data section, MIS section, IT section & Technical Units for data reviews, troubleshooting, verification & validation.
  5. Support Technical Unit in verification of data and preparation of GF grant PUDR on regular basis.

Eligibility:

  • Master in Computer Sciences/ BSc Hons CS or equivalent with 16 Years education from HEC recognized university
  • Max Age: 45 years.
  • With at least 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, CodeIgniter, FileZilla
  • Experience in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
