GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE:

Public Private Mix (PPM) Coordinator for Tuberculosis (TB) is responsible for coordinating and facilitating collaboration between public and private healthcare sectors to improve TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment efforts. The PPM Coordinator plays a crucial role in strengthening the overall TB control program by engaging private healthcare providers, promoting standardized practices, and ensuring effective implementation of PPM strategies.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To assist in developing strategic framework for partnership within health sector and beyond in line with the End TB strategy
  • Advocate need of private sector engagement in TB control, raising awareness among private healthcare providers, and promoting the adoption of best practices and standards
  • Assess coverage and quality of TB diagnosis and treatment in private sector
  • Support the  strong  coordination among different stake holders engaged in  TB control
  • Assist in the development of context specific training material and methodology for private sector and large hospitals in public sector
  • Assist in development and implementation of M&E system & tools for PPM.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of PPM initiatives, by tracking key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, provide feedback and follow up for improvement.
  • Facilitate Private partners in developing and sharing success stories in national forums.
  • Work closely with PTPs and provincial health commissions for developing sustainable mechanism for implementation of legislation for mandatory TB notification
  • Support grant management unit in Data collection, analysis, and validation of PUDR submitted by PTPs and other SRs
  • Provide periodic update on latest developments in the areas of PPM in meetings and/or reports.
  • Identify gaps in PPM, propose scale up, new interventions and operational research in coordination with Research and Data unit.
  • Facilitate and coordinate with private sector for implementation of National surveys/operational research in private sector.
  • Assist in data collection, collation for proposing evidence driven PPM initiatives or advice for a policy change.
  • Assist program leads in data collection and presentation in National/International forums.
  • Stay updated on new recommendation/guidleines for prevention , diagnosis and treatment of TB in children.

Elligibility:

  • Qualification MBBS , MPH
  • Max Age 45 Years
  • Experience Minimum 7 Years working experience in Public Health Programs with 3 years working experience on a Managerial role
    “MBBS with post-graduation in Public Health from HEC recognized university.
  • Experiance: Minimum 7 Years working experience in Public Health Programs with 3 years working experience on a Managerial role. Experience in planning  Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Public Health Programs in Public or Private Sector is required. Experience of Implementation of key intervention in public private mix especially for TB care will be preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of WHO and National strategies and guideline for TB prevention care and control is required.
  • Familiarity of ongoing intervention in private sector, surveillance networks,  data analysis, and interpretation of key performance indicator.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management abilities with analytical, problem-solving skills is required.
